The awful reality is that one in three people face a future with cancer in their lives. But cancer can be beaten. Science and medicine play a vital role, but there is one more element, the simplest and the least expensive: education.

Early detection allows the best chance of survival and full recovery. This why The Male Cancer Awareness Campaign focuses so strongly on education, using a nationwide programme to promote awareness. We are strongly in favour of using ‘live awareness’ to educate men, because we believe that this method has more impact than leaflets and brochures.

Corporate awareness is a major part the Campaign’s strategy. We can visit your workplace to teach you and your colleagues about awareness and how to identify early warning signs. In the live awareness sessions we show the early warning symptoms of prostate, bowel and testicular cancer, and discuss how the body tells you when things are going wrong. Using prosthetics, we show how to self examine for testicular cancer. We offer vital information on prostate cancer, showing where the prostate is, what it looks like and what it does, and we also discuss the difficulties of diagnosis. We offer advice on bowel cancer and make everyone aware of the dangers of not seeking medical help early.

If your company would like to provide this vital service for their employees, please contact The Male Cancer Awareness Campaign for a Guide to Corporate Awareness. The size of the company does not matter. We will come to you and educate all your staff, females included, because we are educating men and their partners about male cancer.
